I am starting to make a YouTube playlist of advanced Substance Tutorials. This is the first one. Honestly, there is a lot of room for improvement. I am planning to create more tutorials and I will get better the more I do. However, I think you will find this tutorial interesting.
We will use the FX map node to "integrate a grid of particles into a vector field". With this approach, we can create complex and hierarchical crack structures and we will not rely on using the Voronoi diagram. We will also use instanced graphs and understand why they are efficient to use.
Disclaimer: In the video, I am talking slowly, as It was a bit difficult to do "Substance Designer" and talk at the same time. You can probably speed up the video by 2x.
